Alexandre de Paris was a world famous celebrity hairdresser who coiffed the likes of The Duchess of Windsor, Elizabeth Taylor, Greta Garbo and Lauren Bacall, to name just a few of the hundreds of celebrity women he worked with during the 50+ years he was a hairdresser.

In 1971, in Paris, he set up a hair accessories brand in his own name - Alexandre de Paris.

The hair accessory brand was a marriage of classical beauty and art deco built around the foundation of hair design. Blended into those basics was romantic nostalgia, stunning colors, lush fabrics and sumptuous seasonal designs.
