Term: Acrylic Nails

Acrylic nails are faux or articifical nails that are affixed onto of the base nail. The nails are created by mixing together a special powder and liquid. One of the most popular liquids used is Ethyl Methacrylate which is known as EMA. Another popular liquid used to create acrylic nails is Methyl Methacrylate known more commonly as MMA. Although MMA is considered more toxic than EMA, it is more popular because it is a lot less expensive. Both EMA and MMA have been known to cause allergic and toxic reations to wearers. Acrylic nails, over time, may also cause deformities in the natural structure and growth pattern of the natural nail.

Daily Hair Tip
To create retro-look hair waves liberally apply a good setting gel, then use massive clips to hold hair in desired shape. Use gentle hairdryer heat, release clips and enjoy lots of new waves.
