Step By Step Instructions – Curl Power Get The Look

Follow the steps below for curl power get the look:

1.  Cleanse detangled textured hair in lukewarm water utilizing Rene Furterer Acanthe Curl Enhancing Shampoo. If you have super dry or damaged strands you may wish to cleanse with a diluted shampoo (DS) or similar hydrating formula.

Note:  Dilute by mixing 1/8th teaspoon of shampoo in 1 quart of lukewarm water in ac lean plastic bottle shaken to form a foam.

After hair is completely drenched with water, drizzle the foam over the top of your head.  Let the suds flow down the length of your strands.  Pat the foam into the rest of the strands.

2.  Rinse shampoo completely from strands.

3.  Use fingers like playing an accordion to gently squeeze excess water from hair.

4.  Apply a curl or texture enhancing rinse-out conditionerfrom the top of the ears down to the ends.

5.  Use a wide tooth comb and/or of your fingers to gently detangle from ends up to the roots.  Work slowly in 1-2″ sections around the entire head.

6.  Once hair is completely detangled, rinse completely.

7.  Finish with a cool or cold water rinse to add natural shine and encourage curl formation.

8.  Towel blot strands to remove excess water.

9.  To amp up curl power get the look by applying Rene Furterer Acanthe Curl Enhancing Leave-in Conditioner to the palms of your hands.  Mix well and finger pick through damp strands.
