Term: E.H. Thiellay

E.H. Thiellay, a British pharmacist and perfumer, along with Leon Hugo of Paris, a hairdresser, invented peroxide, a blonding chemical. The product was introduced in 1867 at the Paris Exposition. It was considered the first hair bleach.
