I recently became acquainted with Mollee Bauer, the General Manager-Publisher for the fabulous Pregnancy.org. After meeting Mollee on a popular social media channel, I made a beeline for Pregnancy.org to check it out.
Although I’m not a parent or wannabe parent, I did write a hair and beauty column for a handful of pregnancy magazines in the late 1990s into 2000. I think it’s fair to say I have awareness of what it takes to produce exceptional content in the pregnancy, baby and parent genres.
When I stopped by Pregnancy.org I was completely blown away. The site’s mission statement is that they’re built “By Parents, For Parents™.”
Indeed, every aspect of parenting is covered from pre-baby, pregnancy and post baby to all the challenges of being parents and raising children to be good adults. The site is very impressive and worthy of high praise.
Pregnancy.org was built to “educate, empower, and connect parents and people try to become parents.” The purpose of the site is for “love of children” and the “desire to do” the “very best raising them to become good adults.”
If that doesn’t impress you away, they also note that they believe “parenting is a sacred responsibility and that education and communication will help us fulfill this responsibility the best we can.” (more…)
