Kate Winslet Sizzles In Red At 2011 Emmy Awards

Kate Winslet was sizzling in a red hot form fitting Elie Saab gown as she arrived at the 2011 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A.  It's significant that the actress wore a red gown because it seemed to be the hottest color of the evening.

Not only did Lea Michelle and Nina Dobrev wear long red gowns, so did Nancy O'Dell and Giuliana Rancic.

Kate's arrival was highly anticipated by the fashionistas since this was Kate's very first Emmy nomination.  The 35-year-old English actress is nominated for her stellar work on Mildred Pierce.

“It was a wonderful experience for all of us. We are very proud to be here,” Kate said before the show.

She also said “A lot of people said to me, ‘Why do a miniseries?’ And my first instinct is to say that there was nothing mini about Mildred. It was so hard! Without question, the toughest job I’ve done since Titanic.”

Kate wore her blonde hair directed over the top of her forehead in a glam wavy fringe with the rest of the hair pulled back from her face.  The Academy Award winning actress looked every inch the movie star she is.

Kate won her first Emmy for her role as Mildred Pierce and she was overjoyed when she accepted the award.

Daily Hair Tip
There are different types of conditioners including pre-shampoo, rinse-out, leave-in and deep conditioning. Olive oil and other volume enhancing products may help strip hair color. When in doubt, ask your stylist.
