In keeping with her famous hair changing ways, Rihanna has again changed up her length, texture, style and color.
Besides her tendency to make dramatic length and color changes, RiRi sometimes transitions with her hair. It was recently announced that the pop icon will soon be appearing on the big screen in her first film role. As part of that role she was required to go with a more subtle brunette hue.
After photos of her in her demure tucked under chocolate hair surfaced I suspected she would knock all of her fans over with yet another hairstyle change. Keeping in mind that Rihanna has some of the very best hair colorists, wig makers and hair stylists on her speed dial, it's no surprise she recently appeared with a brand new look.
Her hair color base now looked like it is a Sienna brown studded with beautiful highlights and low lights in the mahogany, maroon and burnt umber brown color families.
A key signature of her new hairstyle is based around having one side of the hair redirected over to the opposite side of the head. This adds drama and showcases the new texture. An exaggerated side-swept fringe is created which covers a large portion of RiRi's forehead and ends in a huge swooping wave which cascades into loose S shaped loops and soft curls throughout the perimeter of the style.
Is this a wig? Quite possibly but it could also be the result of beautifully placed fusion hair extensions. Or it could be a variety of add-on hair options. The height throughout the top of the head and the crown is created by brushing one side back off the face and up and over the top of the head. The remaining hair on the side is directed back behind Rihanna's shoulders.
The color is rich, luscious and beautiful. Although there is a variety of hues interwoven with the Sienna brown base, they all work in harmony so that no one accent color is out of balance.
In addition, the new hair hues which are a beautiful transition from her recent reds and chocolate works fantastically with her skin tone, eyes and other facial features. Kudos to Rihanna for introducing yet another gorgeous hair color and hairstyle. Will it ever stop? It's unlikely but I for one am glad.
