Feather Acessories Still Going Strong - Alternative To Controversial Feather Extensions

Although it was surprising to see actress Gwyneth Paltrow singing on the recent Grammys, her performed with Cee-Lo Green was well-received by critics and fans.

Even more interesting was the hot pink feather earrings she wore.  Fashionistas perked up when they saw her wearing the perfect accessories for her elegant but sexy low cut jumpsuit.  The hot pink earrings gave her a perfect pop of color without taking her over the top.  Afterall Gwyneth goes for that simple but elegant with an edge style.

Now that the feather hair extensions have triggered a major controversy with PETA fans, fly fishermen and environmentalists, feather earrings not made from roosters who are killed for their feathers are a great way to rock the feather trend without being controversial.

You can be fashionable and not inappropriate, all at the same time.  The advantage to feather earrings is that they are light and airy and can be worn all summer long.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens is also a fan of the hot feather earring trends.  Others in Hollywood have caught onto the sizzling fashion trend and wearing a range of feather accessories including headbands, hair clips and even feather embellished handbags and skirts.

Not only are feather earrings a way to have feathers in or near your hair, feather embellished headbands or hair accessories offer a similar twist.   It's also a good conversation starter because right now feathers are definitely a topic of discussion.
