Skyler Samuels' Curls And Rockin Ringlets - How To

The beautiful  5'6"  Skyler Samuels plays Andie, who is a mysterious succubus on ABC's even more mysterious neighborhood which is part of The Gates.  In essence she needs the life force of others to survive.

She's in love with Charlie who recently discovered that Andie is "some kind of thing" and to him "it just didn't make sense."

Charlie just broke Skyler's heart by telling her he just "couldn't do it" meaning he couldn't get involved with her and her succubus disease.

Steal Skyler's Rocking Ringlets And Luscious Curls

If you're lucky enough to have naturally curly hair which falls into loose ringlets like Skyler follow the tips below to define and refine your Botticelli hairstyle:

Step By Step Instructions

1.  Cleanse hair in desired method (diluted shampoo, conditioner only, water only or a combo).

2.  Rinse and apply rinse out conditioner from top of ears down to the ends.

3.  Use fingers to detangle.  Optionally you may use a wide tooth comb with smooth teeth.

4.  When hair is detangled completely rinse with a cool to cold water rinse.

5.  Towel blot with a thick towel.

6.  Apply desired leave-in conditioning cocktail (leave-in conditioner, defrisant, styling cream, gel or similar) to keep ringlets moist.

7.  Separate curls into natural clumps.  Roll around finger into a ringlet and pin to the scalp.

8.  When entire head has been curled around fingers, sit under a hood style dryer until hair is completely dry.  If you prefer you can air dry the curls.

9.  Allow hair to completely dry.  Spritz lightly with anti-frizz styling spray.  Allow to dry after spraying.

10. Unpin ringlets one by one and allow curls to hang without brushing or combing.

11. Bend over at the waist and gently shake ringlets.  Use fingers to arrange.  If desired touch up with a curling iron.

12. Finish with a drop of shine spray, gel, serum or cream applied to the palms of the hands and massaged together.  Wipe hands lightly over the top of the ringlets.

Naturally Curly Hair With Uneven Curl Pattern, Natural Waves Or Straight

If your hair is naturally curly, but does not easily form ringlets, is naturally wavy or straight, follow the steps below:

1.  Cleanse hair in desired method (diluted shampoo, conditioner only, water only or a combo).

2.  Rinse and apply rinse out conditioner from top of ears down to the ends.

3.  Use fingers to detangle.

4.  When hair is detangled completely rinse with a cool to cold water rinse.

5.  Towel blot with a thick towel.

6.  Apply desired leave-in conditioning cocktail (leave-in conditioner, styling cream, gel or similar) to keep ringlets moist.

7.  Use a long finger diffuser attached to a blow drier.  Allow curls to nestle into the cup of the diffuser.  Work around the head until all of the curls are dry.  Avoid touching with your fingers.

8.  Once hair is completely dry separate curls into natural clump patterns.

9.  Use 1" curling iron and curl each section in a ringlet formation.  After each section is curls pin to the scalp.

Note:  The smaller the iron, the tighter the resulting ringlets.

10. After all hair is hot ironed, pinned and cooled, spray with a anti-frizz styling spray.

11. Allow curls to set.  When completely cool and set unpin each section at a time.

12. Bend over at the waist and gently shake out curls.  Arrange with fingers.  Touch up with hot iron.

13. Finish with a light brush of shine serum, cream or spray and a light spritz of anti-frizz styling spray.
