Robinson Peete who was the runner up to Brett Michaels in The Celebrity Apprentice for 2010 is a co-founder of the HollyRod Foundation, an organization that aims to assist people in dire straits and functions as an advocate for consistent and reliable education, as well as support of families with members suffering from autism and Parkinson's disease.  Holly formed HollyRod with her husband Rodney Peete.

Winners of this award generally maintain long-standing involvement in multiple charitable organizations, and Holly certainly lives up to this standard as she is involved with a long list of local and national entities.  Last year's winner was Nancy O'Dell.
