David Carradine's Death Ruled Accidental Asphyxiation

It was recently reported in the media that Dr. Michael Baden, the medical examiner assigned to investigate the death of David Carradine, has concluded that his death was due to "accidental asphyxiation" or circumstances which prevented David from being able to breathe.  It was also concluded by Dr. Baden that David's death was not suicide.

"He didn't die of natural causes, and he didn't die of suicidal causes from the nature of the ligatures around the body, so that leaves some kind of accidental death," reported the doctor.  The possibility that the asphyxiation was "auto erotic", or brought on by sexual activity is still being investigated further.

Based on David's lifestyle and reports by previous wives and lovers, David had a history of unusual sexual preferences and auto erotic behavior is definitely still a possibility.

Although initially there were lots of questions surrounding David's sudden death a few weeks ago, the actual cause of famous actor's death has been definitive.  The medical examiner assigned to the case had concluded that he is certain about the cause of David's death.

There is still no conclusion about why David was found bound or whether he bound himself or had help.  An ongoing investigation as to the surrounding circumstances is still underway.  It may be many weeks before all the details are released - if they ever are.  It is possible that all the details may never be revealed.
