Julianne Hough Dancing Onto A New Stage

The current season of Dancing With The Stars has been filled with lots of injuries with two of the stars, Jewel and Nancy O'Dell, not even making it to the first show.  Other injuries have occurred with The Woz having injuries to his ankle and leg which definitely didn't help his dancing.  Steve-O also had a back injury from landing on a mic pack.  Holly Madison suffered back and rib strains and the list goes on.

A major blow occurred to the show due to the recent announcement that Professional Dancer Julianna Hough is dancing off the stage at the end of this Season to focus on her music career.

Julianne told the media "I wasn't planning to come back this season because I wanted to focus on my music but I went back and it's been so much fun to dance with my good friend who happens to be my boyfriend (Chuck Wicks)."

Will she ever return to dancing or Dancing With The Stars?  Not in the short term.  Julianna said "I will be taking next season off," explaining she'll be busy touring and bringing out the "real" Julianne Hough.

But will she come back to DWTS at some point in the future?  It's currently unclear and a lot will probably depend on how well she does with her own career.

Hey, maybe she will even return as one of the Stars at some point?  Nahhh, that would be way too unfair for the other stars.  But it's a thought.  Right?

The beautiful 20 year old blonde was awarded the Top New Artist award at the Academy of Country Music Awards show on Sunday night and wants to spend the next year touring in support of her singing career.
