Hair Styles - Deborra-Lee Furness
Deborra-Lee Furness is a celebrity in her own right.
In 2008 she was suddenly thrust into the limelight as a result of her husband, Hugh Jackman. When Hugh was named People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for that year, people wanted to know a lot more about the woman who was married to him.
As the wife of a sexy celebrity Deborra-Lee is often in the limelight at movie premieres or on the Red Carpet and is required to turn up the glam on her hairstyles.
Range Of Hair Styles
Deborra-Lee alters her hair styles so that they work for each individual occasion. Her hair styles are designed for movement and glamour. She alternates between wearing her hair down and soft around her face or pinned up for extra glam.
Australian actresses like Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts are known for their laid-back attitude regarding their hair styles which lean towards sexy, surfer chic styles. Deborra-Lee is no exception wearing edgy, yet feminine hair styles, which show off her natural Australian beauty.
Her hair styles run the gamut from a feathery layered bob with soft side-swept face framing bangs to longer shattered layers.
When she wears her hair up for formal events she tends to favor tousled updos rather than sleek or studied looks.
The former actress also loves to accessorize her various hairstyles with an array of hair accessories such as headbands, dazzling hair clips, hats and scarves.
Deborra-Lee opts for beautiful blonde shades with a soft beige base accented with sensuous lighter blonde highlights and slightly darker low-lights for a rich multi-layered color scheme.
Why Marriage Is A Success
In an interview with People Magazine the sizzling Aussie talked about why his "marriage is a success story".
He told People when he was 26 he met Deb (as he calls his wife) on Correlli (the Australian TV Show).
It was obviously an instant attraction since Hugh told People "I started planning to propose to her at about three months".
A Major Part Of The Equation
Deb is definitely a major part of the equation for what makes Hugh a happy man and success story. He tells the story of how he always introduces his leading ladies (in his films) to his leading ladies and they "like her more than me".
In fact, his leading ladies enjoy Deborra-Lee so much that they often go out without him.
Hugh told People that he "had to work on one of their wedding anniversaries" so Meg Ryan, whom he was working with "on Kate & Leopold (one of my favorite movies) took Deb out to celebrate the anniversary" without him.
Apparently Meg and Deb had a great time while Hugh was back sweating through his lines. How cool is that?As a result of all Hugh's chatting with the media about his beautiful blonde wife of twelve years, Deborra-Lee has been getting almost as much attention as her eye popping jaw dropping husband who Nicole Kidman says "women's jaws drop when Hugh walks into a room".
