Khloe Kardashian Had Curly, Curly Afro Hair As Child

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian,26, "always had curly curly afro hair as a kid" and as a result she told the media "as a child she was far from looking."

Khloe, who is married to Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Lamar Odom told Us Magazine that her natural curly hair caused challenges for her mom as a child.

She said her mom Kris was "stuck with these two kids with stick straight hair (Kourtney and Kim) and then I come out with blonde curly hair."

Khloe who went through a hair crisis at the beginning of a year when she went red and then was forced to go back to dark brunette almost immediately said her mom "had no idea what to do" with her curly hair.

As a result mother Kardashian would "pop a huge bow on my head" to try and accommodate the natural curls. Khloe said her family "used to think it was hilarious" with the bow because "they didn't know what to do with me."

Ironically Khloe told Us that she is "obsessed with singer Jennifer Lopez" who she says looks "so freaking good" all the time. It's ironic that Khloe, my favorite Kardashian, looks up to Jennifer because the American Idol judge also has naturally curly hair.

Khloe who wears her chocolate brown hair beautifully highlighted and lowlighted with complementary hues often wears hair extensions in addition to having her natural texture straightened.

Since Khloe and Jennifer Lopez both travel in similar celebrity circles it makes sense that if Khloe tracks down Jennifer's hairstylist (Oribe) haircolorist (Rita Hazan), make-up artist and fashion stylist she can look as "freaking good" as JLo.

Afterall, when was the last time you saw the beautiful Ms. Lopez with a head full of out of control curls?

Daily Hair Tip
Choose hair care products to suit your specific hair type. Be willing to try several brands until you find a hair care product line that makes your hair look and feel fabulous. Recognize that all hair care products don't always work well on all hair types.
