Kelis Skips Out On Paying For Her Weave

Apparently singer Kelis doesn't feel like she has to pay for her weave.  According to TMZ, the quirky singer received the hair extensions at an upscale salon in Santa Monica, CA last May, but for whatever reason opted not to pay the $5,000.00 bill.

The hairstylist who provided the weave couldn't collect and took Kelis to court and the hearing was March 29, 2010.  The former Nas singer didn't show up at the trial which meant that Kelis lost by default

Sadly, even though the hairstylist won in court, now the issue will be if she can ever collect the money.  It's common knowledge that even when you win a financial judgment against someone in court, getting them to actually pay the money is the tricky part.

Kelis has yet to make a statement regarding the ruling and who knows if she ever will.  Obviously is she is at fault she's probably not going to talk about it.  Stay tuned.

Choose hair care products to suit your specific hair type. Be willing to try several brands until you find a hair care product line that makes your hair look and feel fabulous. Recognize that all hair care products don't always work well on all hair types.
