Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two & The Conditioner

Introduction

I’ve used Paul Mitchell products for years successfully. However, since I’ve had the Bed Head look I use a lot of styling products. Paul Mitchell does a good job in cleansing the hair and scalp, and can be used on a daily basis.

Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two

Shampoo2.jpg (6548 bytes)Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two is designed to thoroughly clean the hair and get rid of product buildup. It’s great to use on permed and colored hair, and additionally can be used on oily hair and skin as well.

The shampoo is clear and golden, and is silky and smooth to the touch.

(Note: 6 ounces will range in cost from $9.00 USD to $11.50 depending on a variety of factors. This does not include tax or any shipping costs).

Usage

Apply a small amount of the shampoo on your hands, and then massage into wet hair. It makes an extravagant amount of rich lather, and the lemon extracts in its formula make shampooing a pleasure.

If you have a lot of buildup in your hair, you can leave the product on for three minutes, and then rinse. Rinse well, then apply The Conditioner to clean hair.

Paul Mitchell The Conditioner

PMCondit.gif (10816 bytes)This conditioner is thick and aqua-colored, with a wonderful Awapui scent. This is a leave-in conditioner, and is filled with a fantastic array of great botanicals to help repair hair. (Note: 6 ounces will range in cost from $9.00 USD to $11.50. This does not include tax or any shipping costs).

Usage

After shampooing, squeeze a small bead-size amount into your hand, and distribute it throughout clean, wet hair. Do not rinse out! Style hair as usual.

Packaging

The products come in Paul Mitchell’s white packaging with black lettering. The shampoo comes in various size bottles, and the conditioner comes in a 6-oz. tube.

Well worth noting here is that Paul Mitchell does not perform animal testing.

Fragrance

Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two has a sweet, lemon-y fragrance that makes a regular shampoo feel like one of those take-me-away-to-a-spa experience.

Paul Mitchell The Conditioner is scented with Awapui, which leaves the hair smelling fresh and clean.

How I Tested These Products

After another night out in a smoke-filled restaurant (and just let me say for the record to any restaurant owners out there that non-smoking areas in an open space do NOT work), I tested both these products on my hair. The shampoo experience was a great one—afterwards my hair was not only clean,

but smelled terrific as well. The conditioner makes the hair feel silky and beautifully soft, but not weighed down.

Daily Hair Tip
To combat cowlicks apply pomade or setting gel to the spot & blow dry w/ nozzle aimed downwards. Longer hair helps weigh down cowlicks as will tiny barrettes or clips. Pulling hair into a ponytail or braids will tighten down the cowlick. Experiment until you get results.
