IntroductionHi everyone! It's Sherry LaBree and I am back with a view of Ouidad Balancing Rinse product. A few months back, Karen graciously mailed me a rather large box filled with full-size Ouidad products and asked me to write a review on all of the products. Because Ouidad has so many products, my original and very extensive review of the entire Ouidad line has been organized into the separate Ouidad products for easier access. Ouidad Balancing Rinse Ouidad Balancing Rinse, 8 oz at - the balancing rinse is a protein enriched, no-oil formula (this contains NO silicone oil and NO plant oils). Ouidad claims that her balancing rinse "provides the protein balance to add body, bounce and luster to dry, dull or damaged hair." The rinse contains detangling agents which are supposed to help prevent overstretching, while adding softness. The "no-oil formula will not build-up on your hair to weigh it down." I really enjoyed this rinse. It is more like a cream rinse than anything else; it IS light and truly will not weigh down even the finest of tendrils.
I also adore the smell of the balancing rinse-- it has a nice fruity scent that lingers-- almost like a pack of lifesavers. The rinse left my hair clean feeling and I was able to run a pick throughout very easily. I also used this rinse as a leave-in conditioner and found it to work wonderfully-- no weigh down at all! Ouidad Balancing Rinse Ingredients Balancing Rinse- water, cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, cetrimonium chloride, glyceral stearate SE, hydrolyzed wheat protein, hydroxyethylcellulose, disodium EDTA, lactic acid, sodium benzoate, benzophenone-4, methylparaben, diazolidinyl urea, annato, carmine, fragrence ConclusionI decided to develop my own system of rating using the good ole 1 to 5 STARS, with 5 STARS being the BEST! The rinse left my hair clean feeling and I was able to run a pick throughout very easily. I also used this rinse as a leave-in conditioner and found it to work wonderfully-- no weigh down at all! Ouidad Balancing Rinse- 4 STARS Warmest Regards and Happy Hair to all.... Sherry LaBree |
