Laura Barsotti is at the top of her game after nineteen years of achievement as a creative hair designer, salon owner and national educator.

Her formative years as a young hair stylist personally training with many of the top icons of the industry and the past fourteen years of work as an educator and senior associate for John Paul Mitchell Systems.

Laura developed and implemented an Advanced Training Program for salons she was employed with in the past. Laura has matured as a master hair cutter and colorist.

In the same spirit of achievement and professionalism, Laura owned, implemented training and managed a salon where clients enjoyed the ultimate experience of premium salon service.

Laura is a leader, co-worker and mentor to others in the highly competitive and progressive world of today’s Professional Beauty Industry.

For the past twelve years, as a Paul Mitchell Educator and Senior Associate, Laura has worked under the direction of Scott Cole and Linda Yodice, founders of Color Cutting and the Artistic Directors for Paul Mitchell Color, and has also trained with John and Susan Chadwick, Jean Braa, Global Artistic Director for Paul Mitchell, Robert Cromeans and many other industry leaders.

Working numerous hair shows, Laura has assisted Stephanie Kocielski, Ruth Roche, Mary Brunetti, the Vidal Sassoon Team and many others.

Laura has received several Paul Mitchell Awards for Excellence in her Craft and Show Performance and has been the Artistic Director for the Paul Mitchell Local Team.

Laura has worked with the Floydd Kenyattas team in several hair shows with dancers, costume and hair including the Alternative Hair Show 2002.

She is committed to raising the professionalism and artistic level of hairstylists in an industry that craves those who lead by example in the promotion of quality service.

Laura tributes her continuing success to experience gained in the Paul Mitchell program.

Laura after three years as a salon owner, although she loved the task of helping others grow, decided she missed the art and creativity of hair that ownership can take away.

Laura is currently tapping into the editorial side of the industry and believes that salon photo sessions inspire hair stylists to push for the creativity and skill that is an essential ingredient to sustaining the best in what the professional beauty industry has to offer.

Laura continues to lead and share her knowledge through education with her peers as she moves ahead towards a bright future.
