| Noreen has graciously provided notes on each photo of her long hair growing history below: I was about 6 months old in this picture. As you can see I didn’t start out with much hair. 
3 Years old. Well at least I had some hair by then. 
6 Years old. This is one of my first home perms. Notice how one side took better than the other. This was always the case. 
7 Years old. This was one of my shorter cuts and the perm came out very curly. Sorry for the focus but the picture is about 37 years old. 
10 Years old. Don’t laugh, but I just loved this do. I thought it made me look so grown up. 
12 Years old. My hair has grown out some, but my bangs are only just long enough to tuck behind my ears. 
13 Years old. Twiggy was my idol. I might never have a body like hers, but I was going to have her hair. 
17 Years old. 4 Months after my shag cut. I hated my hair at this point. I just couldn’t get it to do ANYTHING!!! 
18 Years Old. My hair grew pretty fast during this time, but it was still different lengths. I was a Flower Child of the early 70’s hence the fashionable clothes. 
21 Years Old. My hair had reached my elbows, and was now at one length. 
25 Years Old. This is my hair at waist length. 
30 Years Old. This is a vidcap. By now we weren’t taking many photos. Video was easier and the results are immediate. It’s hard to see but my hair was below my butt. I am sitting on a bed, reading. That is why you can’t see the rest of me. 
41 Years old. This was taken within 6 months of moving back to New England. The different climate was already effecting my hair. 
Thought I would throw this in. As you can see my Mom had great hair, and I just love the barrette. It was always my dream to have hair like hers. She styled her hair using rag curls.
