Ciara is famous for changing her hairstyles on a constant basis. She has worn her hair in every imaginable length, style and color.
It was no surprise that in June 2008 she was in talks with the department store Steve & Barry's to create an affordable clothing line.
Even more impressive in November 9, 2009, it was announced that Ciara would be modeling in the German edition of "Vogue". In January 2010 the magazine's pictures were released online.

Ciara Hair 411
Although most recently Ciara was alternating between a super short crop and long bone straight extensions, she recently appeared at the Los Angeles Premiere of "Death at a Funeral" World Premiere wearing her hair pulled back with a crown bump into a half up/half down hairstyle.
Her natural texture was in full and glorious view.
Ciara showcased her stunning skin and eyes by allowing her long and ringlet curled strands to cascade down her back. She knocked it out of the park showcasing her enviable silhouette with her low cut, form fitting super short dress which she wore belted at the waist.
She finished her look with bandage-strap sandals.
The singer, actress and model pulled it all together.
Hairstyle: Natural Curls And Waves
Ciara is famous for making dramatic hairstyle shifts from super short sleek crops to stunning long ponytails.
She also alternated hair hues cycling through various blonde, brunette and raven black shades.
Hairstyle Color: Raven Black
Hairstyle Highlights/Lowlights: Ciara's hair has finely woven lighter chocolate brown highlights. The highlights provide warmth, depth and volume for her fine tresses.
Ciara's often wears lacefront wigs, extensions and weaves.
Texture: Ciara's hair appears to be in excellent shape and is naturally curly.
Ciara often wears her hair pulled back up and off her hairline which is best for someone with naturally curly hair like her.
Fringe: Ciara has been known to wear side-swept fringes when her hair is straightened.
Face Shape: Depending on how Ciara wears her hair, her face appears to alternate between square with a more pointed chin which is partially heart shaped.
She has gorgeous eyes and lips which help to balance her shape. By allowing her hair to billow magnificently from the back of crown enhances her total look.
Hairstyle Works Best: Ciara has a beautiful hairline. Because her hair is naturally curly but she also wears lacefront wigs, extensions, weaves, clip-ons and braids, it would be possible to match just about every type of hair type, texture and length to Ciara's various styles.
Ciara's hairstyle can be copied with or without a fringe. However, a fringe would be problematic for those with naturally curly tresses.
Hair Tools Required: Ciara's current natural curly style is best achieved on freshly cleansed hair properly prepped with styling products to give the hair appropriate workability.
Depending on the type, texture and current condition of your hair it may or may not be appropriate to utilize a leave-in conditioner, defrisant, styling spray and/or cream, sculpting hairspray, shine spray and/or serum drops.
Hair wax is also optional for creating different textures. If you want lots of volume you may want to consider using a volumizing program with shampoo and root spray.
Utilize the products which work best for your hair type, texture and history.
The gorgeous natural curls can be created by blow drying with a long diffuser attachment on a blow dryer to encourage the curls to form naturally.
If preferred, hair can be sectioned and rolled into a wet set with self adhesive rollers and pins. The hair can be dried under a hood or similar style dryer.
Ciara's hairstyle could also be created with a straw set. Another option is to use pin curls or separate hair and roll individual strands around a finger and then pin.
If you prefer a more finished or textured look you can utilize, a small, medium or large barrel curling iron to fine tune the ringlet formations. Use a long tail comb to create a desired part and a wide tooth comb to detangle.
To add strategically placed volume, fullness and/or length you may wish, if your base hair is long enough, to play with clip-in hair extensions, clip in fringes or a clip-in pony for a completely different look.
Steal Ciara's Hair Style
This style is ideal for shoulder length or longer natural curly tresses which are medium in thickness. Follow the steps below to re-create Ciara's all natural curly hair style:
Start with a perfection hair cut which fine tunes and chisels your natural curl formation.
1. Begin styling by washing your hair in lukewarm water with a product designed to add back moisture and to treat colored or highlighted hair with tender loving care.
Optionally you may prefer to create this style on aged hair or you may wish to do a Condition Only (CO), Diluted Shampoo (DS) or Water Only (WO). Select the best option for your hair type, texture, condition and history.
2. Rinse hair well and then apply a moisturizing rinse-out conditioner focusing the products on the areas of the hair that are most dry or damaged. If your hair is fine or thin you may wish to skip this option or only apply to the ends of the hair.
4. Finish with a cool/cold rinse to lock in moisture and add additional shine.
5. Towel blot or plop natural curls to remove excess moisture and help define the natural curl pattern.
Apply a conditioning detangling spray or leave-in conditioner or apply a hair product cocktail (depending on your hair type, texture and condition) consisting of leave-in conditioner mixed with anti-frizz product. If your hair is naturally curly or wavy you may also wish to use a straightening balm for the last step.
6. Detangle strands with a wide tooth comb working from the ends to the roots. If you wish to wear a part, create either a center or side part, depending on how you wish to style your hair.
8. Separate strands into 1" to 2 1/2" sections and blow dry with a long finger diffuser or a round boar's bristle round brush.
After each section is dry, wrap the strand around your finger in a ringlet curl and pin against the scalp. Continue to do this until all of your hair has been dried, re-curled and pinned.
Note: If hair is naturally curly, do not use fingers to blow dry since this can add to frizz. Use a round boar's bristle brush instead.
For added volume you may wish to consider a vent brush as you blow dry. Blow dry the top sections of hair using fingers to lift individual top strands and direct the air flow from ends to roots
9. Once hair is 100% dry, unpin each ringlet. Bend over at the waist and lightly shake hair to loosen the newly formed curls and waves. Finger pick and tousle to arrange curls.
Avoid using a brush or a comb which will break up the newly formed curls. Lightly backcomb the crown area to create lots of height.
Work the product into the palms of your hands and then rake with your fingers from the ears down to the ends (avoid the roots to eliminate danger of any type of oil buildup).
11. When your hair is styled to your desired texture, you may apply optional hairspray for hold and finish.
Ciara will be releasing her fourth studio album, Basic Instinct in summer 2010, lead single "Ride" which features Ludacris will be released in April 2010.
