Introduction (Image of Donald Sutherland - Commander In Chief - Photo: Peter "Hopper" Stone/ABC 2005 ABC) When Donald makes his first appearance in Commander In Chief after the death of President Teddy Bridges he greets Geena Davis with the words "I was devastated" referring to the shocking loss of his longtime friend. His simple reference to his devastation was so heartfelt that I instantly emphasized with his character. Even though I already knew that he was the bad guy waiting to cause all types of problems, I still felt his pain and instantly liked him. Yes, its true he is the amazingly talented Donald Sutherland that I fell in love with as John Klute. Whether he is playing a flawed private investigator like he did in Klute or a loving father as Cold Mountain's Reverend Monroe, he brings his character completely to life on the screen.

I for one am thrilled that he is the big bad nasty. Even better, Donald has awe inspiring hair. He has a full head of thick lush hair that is a beautiful shade of white/silver. Donald's Hair StyleAccording to past media notes, Donald has been working with the same hairdresser for many years. Anyone that has commented about Donald has said that he is extremely loyal. It makes sense to me since he has such awe inspiring hair. Anyone that has met Donald personally has commented that his hair color is all natural and just really stunning. His look worked well with his Templeton role which was a strong power style. Steal His StyleTo recreate Donald's look on his mostly straight tresses follow these steps: 1. Shampoo and condition with products designed for your type, texture, condition and length of hair. Apply a quarter sized glop of gel, styling cream or similar styling product that are completely distributed through out damp strands. 4. Blow dry individual sections straight using a large boar's head bristle paddle brush, to "cover the most possible hair surface area". 5. When hair is completely cool, spritz with the hairspray of your choice. 6. Gently rake the entire style with fingers. Arrange front and sides. Use a boar's bristle brush or similar and brush very lightly to even out the style. 7. Finish with a spritz of shine serum, spray or similar. SummaryDonald Sutherland is larger than life as down and dirty power broker Nathan Templeton. Don't miss him. And that other "Donald" better watch out. Catch Commander In Chief on Tuesdays at 9:00 - 10:00 pm ET on ABC. If you missed the Premiere Episode, never fear, it will be rebroadcast on Saturday, October 1st from 10:00-11:00 pm ET.
