Banishing Bad Hair Days since 1997!™

A Christmas Hair Poem Adapted From Clement Clarke Moore

"Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse It was time for my bath, and to wash my long hair (And I just hope I don't see that darn mouse).

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; My stocking is all lumpy and bumpy and looks really fun I want to peek to see what's in there, And hope it is neat things just for my hair.

Maybe some special shampoo and conditioner A bottle of each To make healthy my hair and ends Which are now hard to reach.

A pick, a comb, or nice new brush To make my hair smooth as it passes my tush. I'm proud of my hair, but try not to boast, Some cloisonné hair sticks is what I want most!

After air drying my hair there arose such a clatter I sprang from my bath to see what was the matter. I opened the window and there entered a breeze, Glad my hair is not wet or it might freeze.

As my hair swirls around me and my eyes play a trick, I think I see eight tiny reindeer And a guy I swear is St.Nick

"It's Christmas", he says Now I know why he's here He's come to my house Just to brush my hair.

Maybe he can help with some styles A French twist, French braid or neat updo St. Nick understands He's a Long Hair too!

Nick's hair is spun from the finest silver So soft, wavy, and oh so shiny It is hard not to notice And is the envy of many.

St. Nick compliments my hair too And I start to blush He says, "Let's fix your hair Before I have to rush".

He's a master stylist, quick and adept, Knows all the styles and misses no step. Soon he is done and I'm all in a titter, Four feet of hair all up in a glitter.

Before he goes to his sleigh, he kisses my cheek And asks me the secret of my beautiful hair I tell him it's easy I visit "The Hair Boutique".

He just laughs and gives a knowing smirk "I've been there myself, But I mostly lurk.

"It's one big Hair Fest, The folks are great too, But Webmasters Karen and Jeff are truly the best.

I said, "I know, The Hair Boutique Is about hair cuts, color, styles, and shampoo suds. Well, you know, Karen and Jeff They're our long hair "buds"."

He said, "You're right", as he got in his sleigh Merry Christmas and beautiful hair to all, and to all a good night".

A special Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Karen and Jeff and all friends of The Hair Boutique.

Peace,

Neil Anderson
