Quick Xtensions From Conair
Karen Marie Shelton
Date: 11/17/2003

Introduction

Ever since I first heard about Conair's new Quick Xtensions I could not wait to get my hands on one.  I grilled our Conair rep about the product when she first told me about it last June.  (Example of hair that has been X-tended with the new Conair Quick Xtensions tool is shown to the side - compliments of Conair).

So what is a Quick Xtender you might ask?  It is Conair's answer to the hottest Christmas Gift for the 2003/2004 season.  If you are a Conair fan you may know that over the past few years Conair has consistently introduced sizzling hair tools just in time for Santa's annual visit.

In 2001 the hot gift was the first of the Quick Braiders.  Not only was it a huge hit, it continues to sell very well and is loved by many and the add-on kits are still popular with added beads.

In 2002 Conair introduced the second generation of the 3 Strand Quick Braider that came with all sorts of new tools with a special braider that came complete with either a 2 or 3 strand braiding tool as well as a hair ribbon braider

In 2003 there was also the introduction of the Quick Wrap tool which was also very popular and came with different kits.  The Quick Wrap was so popular that after we sold out we had anxious parents calling us nonstop to try and scare up one of the scare Conair tools.

For 2003 Conair has outdone themselves with the Quick Xtensions unit.  I knew it was going to be fabulous the minute my rep told me that it was designed to be hair friendly and hair safe.  So what is it exactly?

It is a tool (shown to the side) that allows anyone with just a few inches of hair to extend their length, texture, color or style of hair to a new level.

The Conair Quick X-tensions toolkit comes with a collection of synthetic braids, spiral curls, twists, dreads and strands in natural and totally hot hair colors.

It also includes a ponytail enhancer.  The X-tender tool has heated aluminum tips to attach the extension pieces to hair strands at the chosen spots.  It Quick Xtensions tool has a counter rest/stand.  It has very quick heat-up for fast extension work and has non slip grips on the handle.

It comes with an on/off swtich and a 6 foot professional swivel cord, 2 hair clips and a special sectioned storage pouch.

It also comes with a small Instructions & Styling Guide booklet and a limited two year warranty backed by the great folks at Conair.

Hurry, supplies are limited and if you want one of these hot new hair tools you will need to buy early before the big Christmas rush. The Quick Xtensions are available at HairBoutique.com (call toll free at 1-866-4MY-Hair on Mondays through Friday, 9-6 CST) or shop in our online store.
