Joico Triage Moisture Balancing Shampoo For Normal Hair
Jane L. Bullock
Date: 1999

Introduction

I recently tried the Joico Triage Moisture Balancing Shampoo for Normal Hair, and loved it! It made my hair feel hydrated and silky, and it was noticeably more shiny after shampooing.

Joico Triage Moisture Balancing Shampoo for Normal Hair

pillzone_1528_7965961.gif (13467 bytes)Even though my hair is on the dry side, I found that this shampoo did a great job for me. It’s also safe for permed and color-treated hair.

The blend of hydrolyzed human hair keratin protein, essential fatty acids, and aloe vera helps hair keep its own natural strength.

After using it, the hair has a lot of shine and  body, and best of all, isn’t weighed down with heavy conditioners.

Usage

Use a small amount of the shampoo on wet hair and distribute it throughout the hair. Rinse thoroughly.

Packaging

The standard Joico packaging is clean-looking with its platinum plastic bottles with black lettering. The price of 8.45 ounces ranges from a low of $3.95 USD to a high of $6.00, not counting tax or shipping.

Fragrance

Joico’s fragrance is wonderful! It’s fresh, clean, and has a light, almost pineapple-y scent. Although it doesn’t linger long on the hair, it makes shampooing a delightful experience.

How I Tested This Product

I tried Joico after a morning workout. Since my style is the Bed Head hairdo, there is always a lot of gel, spray, and styling stick in my hair. It does a great job of gently cleaning the hair of product residue with lots of satiny lather, and it left my hair silky and shiny. It was also a pleasure to use it in the shower—that fresh scent was invigorating!

Shampoo Ingredients

Deionized water, sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamide DEA, cocomidopropyl betaine, triamine complex (hydrolyzed human hair keratin protein) MW 150-800-1800, wheat germamidopropyl betaine, sesamide DEA, sesame oil, borage oil (starflower oil), evening primrose oil, pantheol, aloe vera gel, PEG-60 corn glycerides, octyl hydroxystearate, polyquarternium-10, disodium EDTA, citric acid, methylparaben, propylparaben, sodium chloride, methylchlorothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, fragrance.

Conclusion

Joico Triage Moisture Balancing Shampoo for Normal Hair is an excellent shampoo, and I feel it is gentle enough to use every day.

Jane's Rating

On my own scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, I give Joico Triage Moisture Balancing Shampoo for Normal Hair a 9.
