Introduction

Shessssss back.  Yes, the Apprentice we all loved to hate is back on the latest incarnation of The Apprentice with a brand new twist.  Of course I am talking about the new Queen of Mean,  Omarosa, who caused fans to love her, hate her, or all of the above.

The latest version of Donald's Trump The Apprentice is the celebrity version and Omarosa is back as a D List Celebrity on the show.  The first episode had Omarosa grabbing Project Leadership and scraping with the ladies. 

Whether you care or not, her team lost and someone got fired although it wasn't Omarosa.

Although many viewers don't consider Omarosa as a bona fide celebrity, in some respects Omarosa is more famous than some of the other contestants on the show.

Since her controversial turn on the first Apprentice in 2004 she has managed to stretch her fifteen minutes of fame into several years.

Omarosa has also participated in other reality TV shows including a make-over show on the Discovery Channel, Plastic Surgery Before and After, where she had a much-publicized plastic surgery enhancement taking her "negative A cup to a "small D cup".

Yes, she is very proud of her new measurements and did interviews to discuss her initial concerns of finding a plastic surgeon specializing in African American surgeries.  The Discovery Channel allowed her to pick her own surgeons.  As a result, she went with Dr. Michael Niccole and Dr. Ghada Afafi of Newport Beach, California who specialize in working with women of color. 

Going into her surgery she had concerns about scarring and looking as natural as possible and the results were excellent for Omarosa.

Steal Omarosa's Hair Style

Although Omarosa has been known in the past to wear her African American with lots of waves and abundant texture, for her latest appearance on The Apprentice she is sporting stick straight strands which appear to be either chemically relaxed or a weave.

Whether she is wearing her strands straightened or wavy, she prefers off-the-face styles. 

In the summer of 2007 she appeared on the Red Carpet at the BET Awards with her hair coiffed into a short sleek bob style with side swept bangs. 

Omarosa rarely wears her hair with any type of bangs and prefers to wear her hair brushed off her face.

Since Omarosa burst into the reality TV scene she has appeared in a number of television related venues.  This means she now has access to Hollywood hairdressers who can help her achieve a much more finished look.  Indeed, if you go back to 2004, Omarosa's look has completely changed as her star in reality television continues to shine.

Although some of her changes are directly related to her plastic surgery, she definitely has taken her hairstyles to a new level of sophistication and elegance.

Whether you love her or hate her, Omarosa has become a bona fide reality TV star.  While some people hope she disappears for good or not, it is hard not to notice her hairstyle changes.

Yes, she is controversial and can be annoying as heck but it is hard to argue with her fashion and hairstyles. 

To steal Omarosa's Straight Dressy Styles completely the following steps:

Although Omarosa and Janice Dickenson did battle on The Surreal Life, another reality TV show.  In that episode, Janice Dickenson was seen having her hair styled with Joico products however there was no mention of Omarosa's hairdresser on the reality show or what hair care products she uses on her hair.

If you would like to re-create the sleek hairstyles Omarosa is wearing on the current 2008 version of The Apprentice follow the steps below:

Step 1:  Shampoo and condition your hair with hair care products designed for your current hair type, texture and condition.  Omarosa most likely has had her tresses chemically relaxed or straightened or she is wearing a weave. 

Remember that it is important to use products that honor the special needs of chemically processed strands.

Shampoo & Conditioner to try for naturally curly and/or chemically relaxed strands: PhytoSpecific Vital Force Shampoo and PhytoSpecific - Vital Force Creme Bath

Step 2:  Gently towel blot your hair with a thick towel designed to help absorb moisture.  Avoid rubbing hair vigorously to avoid frizz.  Continue to gently blot hair until all excess moisture is removed.

Step 3:  Mix a cocktail of leave-in conditioner and frizz buster in the palms of your hands.  Apply to damp strands to help keep hair soft and frizz free.

Frizz Fighters to try for naturally curly strands:  Phytodefrisant - Relaxing Baum - 3.3 fl oz (100ml) and John Frieda - Frizz Ease - Original Formula Hair Serum Dropper  

Step 4:  Apply a tennis ball size of mousse to the palms of your hands.  Distribute well through damps strands in order to provide just the right balance of moisture and sheen. 

Note:  Avoid using gels or similar styling products which will make hair stick and tacky. For a softer, more natural look, stick with mousse or very light cream.

Step 5:  Use a wide toothed comb to detangle gently and make sure that the applied styling products are well distributed.

If hair has been chemically straightened or relaxed, take your time detangling.  Work from the bottom of the strands up towards the roots.

Step 6:  Use a blow dryer along with a round brush and separate strands into 2" sections in order to achieve uniform blow drying.

Step 7:  Work in small sections around the entire perimeter of your head until all of the hair has been completely dried.

Step 8:  When hair is 100% dry, use a brush to finish.  If you want a straighter look, you can use a flat iron to touch up the hairstyle.

Note:  If desired, use a curling iron to spot curl random sections.

Step 9:  Apply a shine serum and carefully brush over the top of the bun.

Step 10:  Spray well with soft hold hairspray.

Step 11:  Attach an elegant hair flower, jeweled barrette or other chic hair accessory to complete the look.

Summary

With the right hair care products and either naturally straight or relaxed hair, anyone can easily re-create Omarosa's sleek hairstyles.  This style can also be created on naturally wavy tresses or straight strands which have been flat ironed.

Mix up the style a little and add softly waved tresses.  Dress the style up or down by using a wide range of accessories.

Whether Omarosa's fifteen minutes of fame will eventually sputter to an end, it's unlikely her current hair style will ever go out of hair fashion.  Her current 2008 Apprentice hairstyle is stunning and looks polished.  Maybe her personality isn't polished but her hair looks great.
