Miranda's Hair HowTo
Miranda traditionally wears her fine hair with a deep side part and directs the top of her hair over to one side to give hair lush movement and flow.
To re-create Miranda's beautifully classic long wave infused hairstyle follow the instructions below on freshly washed, detangled and towel blotted strands:
1. On damp hair apply a quarter-size amount of Phyto7 or Phyto9 leave-in conditioner to repair and protect her color treated hair.
This leave in treatment will temporarily fuse together split ends and help to restore internal moisture, while also making tresses stronger, smoother, and shinier.
2. To add volume throughout the crown and top of the head mist roots with a volume enhancing product such as Phyto Volume Actif before you begin styling
3. Blow dry hair with a long finger diffuser attachment. Lightly scrunch hair with fingers while drying to add additional volume and encourage natural texture.
4. To create soft waves wrap small sections of hair around a large barrel curling iron and release.
To give waves extra staying power, after releasing the sections of hair from the rollers wrap them around your fingers and re-pin.
Allow the hair to cool and set while rolled into the invisible rollers.
Before leaving the house unpin the invisible rollers. Use fingers to deconstruct and tousle hair into desired hairstyle.
Finish by spraying the style with a thermal styling spray for a long lasting shine and hold, which is a must for public appearances like Miranda makes on a constant basis.
Miranda told Ellen she is very busy with her successful career, her marriage to hunky Orlando and carrying for a baby.
Ellen gave Miranda one of her trademark gifts which was a set of wings complete with a baby carrier and hot hair tools attached to the front of the vest which held the wings.
Although Miranda is a very busy model, mom and wife, she still manages to keep her hair looking sleek and beautifully styled.
Of course she probably has help from a legion of hairstylists. That never hurts.
