The Young & The Restless - Tracey Bregman
On The Set - Beauty Notes

Hollywood --   Makeup expert Patty Denny uses Elizabeth Arden on the set of the world's #1 daytime drama, the Young & the Restless, at television city in Hollywood, CA. This type of foundation doesn't make Emmy-award winning actress Tracey Bregman break out as they pack it on for TV, where she plays man-eating,  "heroine with an edge" Lauren Fenmore.  Tracey feels that investing in a good base is key, and that you do not need base all over your face, if anywhere, in your tee zones. Other wise it creates more lines.  And, for any soap star, the needed item is Binaca breath freshener!

Patty turned her onto Yves Saint Laurent eye concealer and then Lancome powder. Tracey likes the skin care by Doctor Normal Leaf and Rand Rusher called "Leaf/Rusher Skin Care". Tracey takes off all her makeup when she arrives home from the set to spend time with her two young sons and her husband, a real estate developer. Tracey is a woman who knows what a hectic schedule means: she has starred on "Days of Our Lives," Bold & the Beautiful," and Young & the Restless, hosted two of the #1 infomercials on television, Lasting Kiss and Secret Hair, and sits on the fashion committee for the Otis School of Design.

Born in Munich, and raised in London and Los Angeles, Tracey celebrates her 20th anniversary on Young & the Restless, her home away from home. Tracey prefers MAC mascara on set and in real life, although Patty uses Great Lash Mascara on the set (a pros favorite as far back as the early 70's). One makeup must-have for home: The Prescriptives Magic line. A woman who colors & highlights her own hair, Tracey also is committed to using "a metallic yellowish color on the inner V of eyes to look instantly awake." Tracey's lipsticks favs: NARS, especially a soft pink called CATFIGHT, and by Sephora, a natural peach, simply labeled "C0795."

Always carrying a few lip colors at once, along with Chanel Glossimer lip wands, Tracey admits she is a gloss addict, but tries to keep her lips light, believing that "eyes should be the focus." Tracey claims that investing in good brushes is essential- and she is addicted to brushes by Trish McEvoy.

She was given the entire kit as a gift and absolutely loves it. She has learned to never pull on the eye area during cleansing or application, and just to PAT! She knows that the finest eye shadows are "soft as silk to the touch." One last makeup must have- MAC lip liner in SPICE of course!

About BABOR cosmetics

The BABOR brand dates back to the year 1956, when Dr. Michael Babor patented a hydrophilic face cleanser under the name by which it is still known today: HY-ÖL®.

According to the SmokingGun Website

MARCH 21, 2003--The British Broadcasting Corporation  apologized to the White House for its broadcast Wednesday, March 19th of a live Oval Office feed showing President George W. Bush preparing for his speech announcing the start of the Iraqi war. Bush Administration officials are apparently steamed because Bush was seen having his hair primped and readied by a female stylist armed with a comb and hairspray.
