Candle Lighting-Please Consider Participation

Whether you choose to do this or not, is up to you, but we believe it is a positive idea in the middle of all of this tragedy that has befallen the United States on 9/11/01.

Friday Night at 7:00 p.m. please step outside your door, stop your car, or step out of your establishment and light a candle.

We will show the world that Americans are strong and united together against terrorism. Please pass this information to everyone you know and to everyone on your e-mail lists. We need to reach everyone across the United States quickly to let them know of this unity event.

The message: WE STAND UNITED - WE WILL NOT TOLERATE TERRORISM.

Phytothérathrie introduces the perfect complement to Phytodéfrisant Relaxing Balm

NEW YORK - When it comes to straightening naturally curly and permed hair, Phytodéfrisant Relaxing Balm is everyone's perennial favorite. Applied on wet hair after shampooing, the renowned botanical balm magically straightens hair without any harmful chemical action. "Wella Acquires Graha Webb."

The Wella Group recently announced that, through its U.S. subsidiary, The Wella Corporation, a definitive agreement has been reached to acquire the assets of Graham Webb International. This acquisition significantly strengthens Wella's position in the U.S. professional hair care market and sets the stage for the global expansion of the Graham Webb brands.

With the acquisition of Graham Webb International, the Wella Group adds a well-established brand portfolio to its two existing brands, Wella and Sebastian, which complements its product offering to the U.S. professional salon market.

In commenting on the acquisition, Heiner Gürtler, Chairman of the Management Board (CEO) of Wella AG, said: "With the addition of the Graham Webb business, the Wella Group simultaneously achieves two strategic objectives. First, the acquisition significantly strengthens Wella's No. 2 position in the US professional salon market. Second, the planned international roll-out of the Graham Webb brands will contribute to Wella's future growth in sales and earnings."

Graham Webb International, a privately-held company, was founded in 1990 and has rapidly grown during the past few years. The company, headquartered in Carlsbad, California, has 135 employees and achieved factory sales of $78 million in 2000, of which approximately $2 million were generated outside the North American market.

The Graham Webb International brand portfolio predominantly consists of three product lines: The Graham Webb Classics line is exclusively positioned and marketed via high-end, prestige salons. Graham Webb's other two lines, Back to Basics and Head Games, are targeted towards a larger selection of salons and consumers. All three Graham Webb salon lines focus on the care segment of the haircare market. They perfectly complement the Wella brand's dominance in the U.S. professional color segment and the Sebastian brand's strength in the styling and finishing segment.

Graham Webb International is well-known in the U.S. for its creative marketing, innovative products and packaging, quick reaction to market trends and advanced retailing concepts targeted at salons. Graham Webb's success can also be traced to its broad sales and distribution network.

The combination of Graham Webb International with Wella's North American operations is expected to create significant revenue enhancement and operating efficiencies.
