You may be wondering what an astrological Moon Sign Book has to do with
hair. Well it has plenty to do with hair. If you care about using the Moon to grow your
hair faster, longer, thicker or fuller, this is the book that gives you all the best days
for hair care treatments. I have personally been using this book by Llewellyn since 1976.
In fact, I still lug around the 1977 version because it had some interesting notes.
Llewellyn changes the format of the Moon Sign Book from year to year by
adding special articles and different features. The one thing that doesn't change is the
information on Beauty and Hair Care. An Astro Almanac is included with detailed dates for
cutting hair to increase growth, decrease growth or increase the thickness. There is also
a list of all the Favorable and Unfavorable Days according to each sign.
Karen's Tip: If you know your rising sign as well as your sun sign,
check both. For example, I am a Cancer with Scorpio rising. So I read the information for
both Cancer and Scorpio.
The 2006 Moon Sign Book includes overall weather predictions for the
entire year, best planting and gardening dates, and exercise, diet and weight loss by the
moon. This book contains 384 pages of great information about all kinds of moon related
things. In my opinion this book only gets better year by year.
I highly recommend this book as a great hair care guide. While you are
at it, you can benefit from learning about other ways to use the moon in your life with
great results. I also recommend the 2006 Llewellyn Sun Sign book (see my review).
