The
World's Best-Kept Beauty Secrets : What Really Works in Beauty, Diet & Fashion
by Diane Irons
This is a wonderful little book (250 pages) packed with all kinds of
common sense beauty tips and hints.
The amazing beauty secrets packed into 21 chapters includes everything
from supermodels' tips on using milk to exfoliate skin to a list of wonderful hair
conditioners that you can easily and inexpensively make at home.
Chapter 3 of her book is jam packed with all kinds of hair secrets which
includes hair treatment recipes for oily and dry hair. She has a great suggestion for
natural color hair enhancers that you can buy at the health food stores with no danger of
chemical damage.
I personally tried her nourishing hair pack and was impressed with the
results and the simplicity of the treatment. I did not find any hair secrets or recipes
that I did not either enjoy or agree with. She offers a lot of great hair wisdom that is
kept secret by the beautiful people.
Diane also includes some great secrets for skin, makeup, hand and feet
care and easy fashion tips. I really enjoyed her chapters on Bargains and Anti-Aging
secrets. The Bargains chapter includes a list of locations where you can say money on all
your favorite hair and skin care products. I copied down several of her suggestions and
plan to enter the beauty shopping zone in the near future.
Diane closes this little gem of a book with an introduction to using the
Internet to get additional free beauty tips and help. Her Internet chapter touched a
subject near and dear to my heart and The Hair Boutique.
This book is well worth the price. If you use just a few of Diane's home
hair care recipes you will save the price of the book in no time. I know I will be
referring to Diane's book for years to come.
Enjoy!
