Not everyone believes you should get something for nothing, whether it's hair products and services or anything whatsoever.

Graham Clarke of the Clarke Group Of Companies was quoted in Canadian Magazine back in May 1987 about the dangers of taking something for nothing.

Clarke said "I don't believe you should get something for nothing.  The intellectual exercise of taking something and flipping it - all that does is create inflation;  it's an illusion."

He explained "I don't believe in it and because I don't delieve in it, I don't engage in it.  And because those are my beliefs, that may be one of the reasons I'm involved in the Board of Trade and in Tourism Vancouver"

Clarke's business philosophy? It's "low key and consistent."  He told Canadian Magazine "Our bedrock belief is one of hard work and value added."

He clearly is not an advocate of the boom or bust mentality.

The apostle Paul eloquently addressed taking something for nothing in Ephesians.  He said “he who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need” (Ephesians 4:28).

Ultimately when you take something for nothing you set off a chain event which ultimately hurts everyone.  It may not seem like it at the time, but every action has a reaction.

There really is no such thing as hair - something for nothing.
