How To Bottom Line Your Eyes

Jazz Up The Bottoms Of Your Eyes

Eyes are the windows to your soul and one of the first things people notice.

Eyeliner makes your eyes pop by giving them definition and enhancing their natural shape.

Eyeliner pencil come in a wide range of colors and styles and you can customize your look by alternating between a dramatic stroke with a heavy hand or a softer muted line with a lighter pressure.

Celebs often wear dark eyeliner under their eyes, and it looks great.  However, if you don't have big eyes, it can make them seem smaller.

Never fail, there's a secret.  Of course there is.  The pro-makeup-artist way to get the look is to line just two thirds of the way in toward the nose, then use a lighter, sparkly pencil on the final third section.

By highlighting the inner corner, you open up your eyes so they look huge.  Since eyeliner is one of the most important cosmetics for your eyes now you can give your eyes a dramatic look without skipping a beat.

Once you get the hang of it you can experiment with a range of colors other than black.  Consider experimenting with browns, gilded bronzes or plums for lighter eyes.  Darker eyes can totally pull off a drastic black hue.  Make sure your liner complements the color of your eye shadow.

Remember that charcoals, gold or silver hues look great with green and blue peepers while rich red browns look fab with blue eyes.   If you want your eyes to look more white, try blue.  Avoid reds unless you want your eyes to look more red.

One last tip is to try and hold your eye steady with your hand so that you're looking straight ahead to get your line straight without wiggles.

Daily Hair Tip
When towel drying wet hair never rub hair roughly or twist up into a towel. This will potentially damage delicate hair cuticles. Instead carefully blot hair with superabsortant towel and squeeze hair gently to remove moisture.
