Hugh Jackman Opts Out Of 2nd Oscars Hosting Gig

Hugh Jackman was absolutely amazing as the Master of Ceremonies at the 2009 Academy Award Show. He won rave reviews for his song and dance fueled hosting performance and the ratings which had been in the doldrums shot up to a much higher fan approval level.

According to Variety, Hugh will not be hosting the 2010 Academy Awards.  The handsome Aussie is currently in New York starring in the Broadway play "A Steady Rain" with actor Daniel Craig.  Although he didn't rule out hosting at some time in the future, he apparently doesn't want to host two years in a row.  Which is probably a great career decision.

The 82nd Annual Academy Awards will air on March 7 and will be produced by Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman.

Daily Hair Tip
To combat cowlicks apply pomade or setting gel to the spot & blow dry w/ nozzle aimed downwards. Longer hair helps weigh down cowlicks as will tiny barrettes or clips. Pulling hair into a ponytail or braids will tighten down the cowlick. Experiment until you get results.
