Milla Jovovich's Red Carpet Hairstyle For A Perfect Getaway

Twittergraced the cover of Lucky Magazine approximately one year ago for September 2008.  When discussing her career and life at that point in time Milla told Lucky her clothing line Jovovich-Hawk had "run its course".

The brunette beauty also discussed the fact she took a two year break from films after she had her baby.  When asked about her always edgy wardrobe Milla confessed "I like to create characters with my wardrobe, so I pick pieces with a story.".

However, as of last September 2008 Milla was back to work and tell Lucky about her two latest projects - 'A Perfect Getaway' as well as 'The 4th Kind'.

Jump ahead to August 5th, 2009 and Milla was looking especially gorgeous at the Los Angeles Premiere of the above mentioned film - 'A Perfect Getaway'.

Milla was wearing her long dark chocolate brown strands bone straight with lots of lush volume, healthy shine and shimmer.  Along her hairline one side of the hair was swept from a deep short side part and directed over to the opposite side.  Part of the side-swept fringe covered the upper corner of her left eyebrow.

Milla looks great either with a full frontal forehead fringe or a fringe swept to one side.  For her appearance on the red carpet for 'A Perfect Getaway' she offset her soft shimmering chocolate brown tresses with a classic vibrant red lipstick.

If you look closely at her hair you may notice she has subtle highlights and lowlights which play off her rich chocolate brown base hair color.

If I had to hazard a guess I would suspect she has highlights interwoven along the face in a slightly lighter milk chocolate or even a dark caramel.  I also thought I saw glimpses of possibly plum or merlot lowlights giving her strands lots of sensual movement, dept and diminsion.

Of course only her haircolorist knows for sure the exact colors interwoven throughout her strands but the results are stellar.

Milla's Hats & Other Beauty & Fashion Secrets

Although she didn't wear a hat for the Red Carpet, Milla told Lucky Magazine in 2008 she has a collection of hair "from the 1940s and 50s" which "is huge."  She searches from the "constantly online - it has become a sort of hobby."    She also confessed she has "shopped at Neil Lane for years.  He has truly unique jewelry with a lot of personality."

Her other passions?  Prada is her "go-to spot for amazing shoes every seasons and she "always unearths the perfect little jacket or blouse at Nanette Lepore."

The cool news?  She also loves L'Oreal Paris Higp High Inensity Pigments Color Rich Cream Crayon and she loves patchouli lavender and vanilla body scrubs for her shower.

No wonder Milla always looks so amazing!

Give short hair tousled looks by scrunching or running fingers through wet hair as it air dries. Use blowdryer on low setting for faster results.
