HairDresser Dreams - What Do They Mean?
Question
Dear Karen,
Hi...thanks in advance for your help.
I keep dreaming of BEING a hairdresser, and of creating nice
hair styles. I am specifically cutting the hair, and using a
curling iron and hair color. I enjoy cutting hair on friends
and loved ones, but I am not a professional hairdresser. It is
a positive dream and the person is happy.
Any thoughts that you might have would be very much
appreciated.
Thank you.
Angela
Answer
Dear Angela,
Thank
you very much for your email and for visiting HairBoutique.com. I
appreciate it very much.
As far as your
hairdressing dream my answer is listed below………
Dreams can take many forms. Some dream experts believe that dreams
occur during certain dream cycles where our souls travel on the
astral plane, and experience events in the past, present or future.
Therefore dreams may be predictive at times. Or they may recap
events happening presently or in the past.
With your hairdressing dream it's possible that your spirit is
traveling on the astral plane and in fact in the future you will
actually become a hairdresser. Or it's also possible in a previous
incarnation (if you believe in that) you may have been a hairdresser
and were extremely happy and your soul is traveling back in time.
Others believe that dreams may not necessarily indicate astral
traveling to past, present or future but can be symbolic of events
that are happening in our life or provide answers to questions we
may have.
If you look at your dream as a combination of symbols it could mean
that you are happiest when you are being creative and making others
happy with your creativity. This might indicate that you are not
being totally fulfilled in your current job or career and that you
need to be exploring ways to express your creativity to help make
people happier.
The dream could also be telling you that you are much more skilled at
using tools (curling irons) than you are aware of.
However, because you are using hair color in your dream I would
suspect that the dream is symbolic of unexpressed creativity and
your true desires are being expressed to you in the form of creating
beautiful hair color and hairstyles.
Regardless of whether you believe the dream is your spirit traveling
the astral planes or unexpressed creativity, you need to examine
both of these options and ask yourself if you might be happier in a
different career.
If that is not an option, you might look at the dream as telling you to
express yourself with forms of creativity. Maybe taking a few art
classes or even getting involved with other artistic endeavors which
could ultimately lead you in new directions with your life.
The fact that you are so happy in the dreams and they are so good would
suggest to me that your subconscious is telling you that you could
be so much happier if you did get more involved with expressing your
creativity and that you probably have tremendous talents that you
have not been expressing.
With dreams the meaning ultimately can be revealed when the person
having them takes the time to think about what it might mean for
them and it is admirable that you are taking the time to think about
what this all means for you. Definitely a positive reaction to your
dreams.
If you are unsure about the meaning for you, a good exercise is to keep
a dream journal and train yourself to wake up after dreams. You can
also make a point of asking your subconscious mind to give you
answers in dreams and ask specific questions before you to bed.
I hope that I have helped trigger some answers for you.
Please let me know if you have additional questions. Thank you
again for thinking of HairBoutique.com.
Good luck to you in whatever endeavor you undertake and Happy
Holidays.
