Ken Paves Hair Care Line?

Question

Dear Karen,

I first have to thank you for HairBoutique.com.  I visit often and your advice has helped me often.  I am finally writing to you because I am confused about something.  I heard on Oprah recently that Ken Paves has a new hair care line.  If truth be told I first learned about Ken from your articles about him.  I have become a fan of your great Ken Paves pieces.  You seem to really capture his essence.

OK.  So long story short.  I am very confused why I could not find Ken's new hair care line in your wonderful Marketplace.  I figured that if anyone showed support for Ken's new line it would be you and HairBoutique.com.  Since you don't seem to carry Ken's line does that mean that you don't like the line?  Does it mean you won't carry the line?

Finally, I hate to ask but can you tell me where I can find Ken's line.  I would prefer to buy it from HairBoutique.com since I have always had such amazing service and support from the HairBoutique.com team.  However, since you don't have the product I hope you don't mind but could you tell me where to buy it?

Thank you again for all you do for so many people.  I should have written long ago but you know how it goes when life gets busy.

Your biggest fan,

Betty

Answer

Dear Betty,

WOW!  Thank you for such a kind email.  You made my day with your sweet compliments.  I am so happy to hear that HairBoutique.com has helped you.  I have dedicated the past 7 years of my life to building HairBoutique.com to help consumers with hair and beauty information.  It is all worthwhile when I receive emails like yours.

I am also so happy to hear that you have had great support from the Marketplace team members.  I can honestly say that they do their absolute best and work so hard to take care of all of our fabulous customers.

Thank you for your feedback on my Ken Paves articles.  I always worry that I am not capturing his true brilliance the best that I can.  So I appreciate your comments about my Ken Paves coverage. And of course I am thrilled that you discovered him through Hairboutique.com.

As far as Flawless, Ken's fabulous new hair care line, is concerned,  there was an exclusive arrangement in place with a large drugstore chain that expressly prohibited any other stores, including HairBoutique.com, from carrying the Paves products at that time.

However, as soon as the exclusive arrangement was completed HairBoutique.com started carrying the entire line of Ken's Flawless line

While it is true that I try very hard to avoid offering any products that I feel are inferior in the HairBoutique.com Marketplace, this is not the case with the Flawless line. I have used the entire product line and it is very good.  I am personally partial to Flawless Un-Damaged Goods Deep Repairing Conditioning Milk For Dry Damaged Hair.

Thank you again for your wonderful email.

Best wishes,
Karen
