Hairstyling Celebrity Style: Ellen's Degeneres
Paul Mitchell Systems
Date: 11/20/2003, 10/14/2004

(Beverly Hills, Calif. – November 18, 2003)

Lately, Hollywood hairdresser Lori Guidroz has had a serious case of the giggles: she currently works as Ellen’s personal stylist on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

“I love going to work because Ellen makes the day fun,” Lori explains.  “Not only do I get to do what I love, but I spend the entire day laughing while I’m doing her hair.”  Lori is serious, however, about keeping Ellen’s hair healthy and shiny and uses the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Collection to do just that.  “Ellen and I are huge fans of this line because it is refreshing and light.

Ellen also uses deep conditioners like Super Charged Moisturizer to keep her locks vibrant and vigorous despite all the blow-drying and hot ironing that happens on the show.”

To style Ellen’s hair, Lori also uses Paul Mitchell’s Extra-Body Daily Boost™, Slick Works and Gloss Drops.

Ellen’s got Paul Mitchell the color in her corner as well: Paul Mitchell Educator of the Year Lucie Doughty relies on the color to highlight Ellen’s blonde tresses on a regular basis.  She works closely with Ellen to make sure that her color is something that will look great under all the studio lights and on screen.

I’ve admired Ellen’s work for quite some time so it is especially rewarding to do her color and know her personally,” says Lucie.  “She inspires me because she knows what she wants and goes for it with kindness and complete focus.”
