TheKiss.com While Hair Boutique is devoted to banishing bad hair days, we also like to jog a teeny bit off topic (but only from time to time) to make things interesting. With all the current focus on approaching Proms and Spring formals and of course, June weddings, there is a natural tie to romance. With romance there is almost always some kissing. (At least we would like to think so). 
With this is idea in mind, we have decided to award our Hair Boutique Link of the Week to the best place on the Net to enjoy all sorts of "virtual kissing". OK, OK, it may be virtual kissing, but there is no question that TheKiss.com is the best site to do it at. TheKiss.com is THE kissing resource on the web. The Hair Boutique definitely provides the potential for online romance with the Personals messageboard. A few of the Hair Boutique couples who have met and found romance on the Personals page have shared their private and very heartwarming stories with me. For the sake of romance on our Personals board, we recently added TheKiss.com banner on the messageboard front page so that people have instant access to crank it up, if they want to.
Inside TheKiss.com This wonderfully entertaining site contains all kinds of interesting and creative kissing goodies. Not only can you click into the kissing booth and send a virtual kiss, you can buy all kinds of intriguing gifts that are shaped like lips (phone, furniture) or snap up the latest books on kissing. A new Comet Cursor on the front page gives you the option to see a pair of lips instead of a pointer for your mouse, if you have the appropriate plugin installed. There is also a daily kissing and dating tip as well as a column from the Dating Doctor.
This has to be one of the most popular parts of this great site. Not only can you send custom kisses that you design yourself, you can send Pre-Puckered Kisses if you are in a hurry. The Pre-Puckered Kisses are no muss, no fuss and if you are in the doghouse with your sweetie, you can click and kiss in no time. The big pouty custom lips are my favorite. I love how you can type any message you want. Don't worry, there are no prying eyes, so go ahead and let your heart take over and type any message your heart desires. I admit it, I could not resist sending virtual kisses out by the handful. It was so much fun, that I created every kinds of lips imaginable.
Do you remember your very first kiss? When I first found this section on TheKiss.com I was thrilled but had instant amnesia. Gosh, it took me a long time but I finally remembered my very first smooch. Not counting pushy aunts, grandmothers and parents, I had the honor of being kissed by my first real high school boyfriend, Ron, when I was the tender, but old age, of 15. In fact, I remember at the time I was terribly worried that if Ron didn't "pucker up" soon, I would be 16 and "never had been kissed". In those days, a fate much worse than death. If you love to read about others experiences or want to share your own, this is the place to do it. I read several of the stories and they were touching, funny and charming. I loved the fact that the stories were from male and female alike and covered all ages.
If you need a tip on how to kiss you can get a great new kissing tip every day. The Kissing Tip o the Day is direct from Tomima Edmark who published the great book, 365 Ways To Kiss Your Love (also creator of the wildly successful topsy tail hair tool). The kissing tip of the day, when I wrote this review, was the Kiss A La Orange. It was a little messy, but definitely creative and lots of fun. This kiss required...you guessed it....fresh oranges. There is also a dating tip of the day that offers new ideas for dates and other romantic things to do with your significant other.
You must stop long enough to browse through the great collect ion of kissing books written by Tomima Edmark. These include: The New Kissing Book 365 Ways To Kiss Your Love, 365 Ways to Date Your Love 365 Romantic Gifts For Your Love Cigar Chic: A Woman's Perspective.
You definitely need to stop by the Trunk o 'fun area so that you can download a set of Kiss-Notes or a Kiss-Hanger. A new game, Kiss Chaos is scheduled to be available soon. The Kiss-Quotes are a brand new feature. You can also check out what Kevin Costner had to say in Bull Durham and Clark Gable had to say about kissing in that movie classic, Gone With The Wind.

Summary The Kiss.com has won bushels of awards since the beginning they appeared on the Net. If you check out their awards page you will be amazed at all the awards and press coverage that their site has received. One thing is for sure, if I ever win the Texas Lottery, I am hiring these guys. I have no doubt that they could weave their magic on anything they touch.
