Introduction
 Alyson
Hannigan, famous as Willow Rosenberg of Buffy The Vampire Slayer has grown up.
She said good-bye to the beloved Buffy gang in vampire-infested Sunnydale and proceeded as Michelle Flaherty to marry Jim Levenstein
(Jason Biggs), her high school Prom date in the big screen's
American Pie III - American Wedding.

In her private life, Alyson Hannigan
recently
married her former Buffy co-star, Alexis Denisof (Angel) and took a little
time off to enjoy married life before jumping across the pond to
star in a stage play with 90210's Luke Perry that required her to
scream, just like on Buffy. Only this time, her squeals were
unrelated to monsters and related to Meg Ryan's part as Sally in the
classic When Harry Met Sally play.
Alyson Returns To UPN
Now, at least temporarily, Alyson is back in her old stomping
grounds - UPN where Buffy was filmed for two years - to help save
another day ruled by yet another perky blonde star not unlike Sarah
Michelle Geller (Buffy). This day she is hoping to help boost
ratings for
Veronica Mars (Kirsten Bell) who inhabits the seaside town of
Neptune.

Alyson has informed the media that she loves the mystery packed PI
extravaganza and hopes to "do her part to help save the series from
the big bad cancellation slip".
Alyson is excited about her role on Veronica and is hoping that all
the original Buffy fans will turn out to watch. She recently
commented to Kate O'Hare, of
Zap2it.com that "hopefully (Veronica Mars) will get picked
up for a second season and there'll be more of a big arc for my
character. Call me optimistic, but if UPN wants to have good
shows on the network, I would think they'd keep the ones that they
have?" Alyson also told O'Hare "they need to keep Veronica
Mars, because it's such a good show. I don't understand why
people aren't watching it."
Note:
October 15, 2005 - Veronica Mars was indeed renewed for a second
season. Alyson left the series to co-star in the new CBS
comedy - How I Met Your Mother - Monday nights.
Trina Echolls - Rich Bitch
 Alyson,
who has signed to appear on Veronica Mars in a recurring guest
starring role as
Trina Echolls, the super bitch half-sister of Neptune bad-boy Logan,
is showing a whole new side. If you are hoping to catch a
glimpse of the sweet Willow, think again. Not only is Alyson
playing the type of spoiled bitch you love to hate, her appearance
has changed significantly from her days on both American Pie and
Buffy.

 After
all, Alyson is a study in wild contradictions. Her sweet cutie
pie, wholesome Willow character (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) morphed
into a full blown out-of-the-closet love affair with a woman.
This unexpected turn for Willow initially shocked, but ultimately
thrilled Alyson's legion of Buffy fans.

It was risky but the character of
Willow thrived as the result of the unusual love relationship.
In her private life Alyson had a highly publicized relationship with
Marilyn Mansion drummer that gave her a naughty girl image.
Then the redhead scrubbed her life clean with marriage to good guy Denisof.

In her sizzling new poor little rich
girl role, Alyson's red tresses, which have varied wildly in
the past from vibrant light cherry red to multi-streaked with shades
of white blonde, have been darkened to a sleek and dangerous auburn.

recently made a special guest appearance on That 70s Show as policewoman
Sally.

Alyson with the longer strands she used to wear in the late 90s on
Buffy, she does possess the right face shape (oval) and natural
coloring that can carry off shorter hairdos. Her style
flatters her slight, slender frame. The hairstyle also helps
redefine her from the quirky tomboy roles she has played so well in
the past to the role of sleek up-and-coming bitch. The deeper
hue offset her gorgeous green eyes and plays well with her oval
face.
 Alyson's
hair has been razored into a dramatic side-swept, rounded blunt cut
