Kristin Landen Davis (also listed as Kristin Lee Davis) is a
classic beauty known for her stunning long brunette tresses.
The actress was born February 23 or February 24, 1965 depending on
the source) and is most famous for playing the role of Charlotte
York Goldenblatt on HBO's Sex and the City (SATC) series.
Fans of the SATC series are already becoming excited about the
second SATC film which is due to be released on May 28, 2010.
In fact, may critics believe SATC will be one of the most successful
films of 2010.
Besides her role as Charlotte, Kristin is also famous, at least
in some circles, for her obsession with Prada. The beautiful

Prada-holic, though. Whenever I'm in Manhattan, I can walk into

Kristin also admits she has to be careful with what skincare she
uses because her peaches and cream skin is so sensitive.
She has told the press "I use Ahava skincare, which is natural
line from Israel and is made from minerals for the Dead Sea. I have
the most sensitive skin. If you just look at me wrong, I break out
in blotches! So I have to be really careful with what I put on my
face. I try and focus on being really healthy, too. I don't drink
and I don't smoke, which helps."

The brunette actress who is the proper, polite and conservative
voice of the four Sex and The City ladies has been expanding her
horizons with roles in other films.
In 2009 she was again part of an ensemble cast in the film
'Couples Retreat' along with Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon
Favreau, Faizon Love, Malin Ackerman, Kristin Bell, Kali Hawk and
Jean Reno.

To copy Kristin's long wavy hairstyle follow
the simple steps listed below:
1. Start with either freshly cleansed and completely dry hair or
with day old hair with a cream or spray designed to help with the
creation of soft hair waves. Depending on your hair type and
texture you may prefer mousse, gel or some other styling product.
Note: If you
shampoo your hair before styling be sure to use products
for your hair type (fine/thin, medium, thick, very thick), texture
(straight, wavy, curly, kinky) and current condition (normal,
damaged, extremely damaged).
2. If you wish to copy Kristin's look
completely, create a deep side part extending directly off the hairline using
a
long tail comb. If you prefer, you can copy Kristin's
hairstyle with a fringe or different part although it
may not look exactly the same.
3. Use a 100%
boar bristle brush or
similar and separate remaining hair into two-inch sections.
Clip all
remaining hair
out of the way.
4. On each section, spritz
styling spray or apply
cream, starting
approximately 1-2" below the root area.
After prepping hair with spray or
similar, wrap around a large barrel
curling iron
(or
large hot rollers) for a few seconds
to avoid burning or damaging strands.
Hold the iron
until you feel the heat coming off of the hair.

5. After creating the hot curls and removing the iron, re-roll
curl around fingers to recreate the curl. Pin to the scalp.
Note: If you prefer, you can opt to use either hot rollers
or create a wet set with traditional style sponge, rag or adhesive
style rollers to achieve similar results.
6. When all the sections of hair have been completely ironed,
reformed and pinned, spritz the entire head lightly with a
setting
or styling spray.
7. When hair is completely dry and cool, unpin each curl.
8. Separate a 2-4 inch section of hair, depending on your
preferences, from the right side part off the hairline. Lift
the section and backcomb it with a
brush or
comb to achieve the desired height.
Spray well and then smooth back and over to the opposite side of
the head from the part to achieve that sexy sweep of hair Kristin is
famous for.
9. Rake
through the remaining hair with your fingers to
arrange hair into sexy waves just like Kristin is wearing on The
Red Carpet above. For added tousle you may bend over at the
waist and gently shake your strands.
10. For Kristin's brilliant shine add a
few drops of shine serum, spray or
shine enhancing hairspray to the
palms of your hands and then wipe lightly over the top of your
tresses. Remember that a little bit of shine product goes a
very long way.
Note: If the waves are too well formed use a 100%
boar bristle brush to break up the waves a bit and make them softer.
Remember the smaller the
curling iron barrel, the tighter the
resulting curls and waves.
Kristin's hairstyle is a classic style and truly gorgeous. It can be worn for any Holiday or
Party Hair event ranging from a formal or semi-formal dinner or a
special formal dance or Prom.
