Name
That Celebrity!
Once again, I was please to see that I received over
120 entries to the contest, despite the serious lack of a real prize.
And yet again, I made it WAY too easy. For those that didn't get
it, the mystery celebrity in the black and white photo was a young...
Mystery Celebrity: SIGOURNEY

As usual, I give you either a picture of a celebrity
from early in their life or career with some completely different look
or I disguise a current picture. You then have to tell me who the
celebrity in question is. Simple enough? Of course.
I said last month would be a bit challenging and
I was way off. This month, no more Mr. Nice Guy. I should have
actually featured these picture last month, since they have a high school/college/graduation
theme, but hey, them's the breaks.
So tell me, who are the three high school/college
students shown below?
Mystery Celebrity
#1(easy):
Mystery Celebrity
#2 (fairly tough):
Mystery Celebrity
#3 (who the heck is THAT?!):

Need a hint? All have
been mentioned in at least one of the last three columns (including
this one), two are on TV, and one is in the movies. That's all you
get. And you have to guess ALL THREE. Told you it would
be harder. J

As usual, THE FIRST PERSON to send me the correct answer for
all three gets a hearty virtual handshake and pat on the back...and
their name featured in the next column. The next nine just get their
name in the column. Sure, it's a subtle difference, but those yellow
letters don't come cheap. Good Luck!
Did
Ya Know?
Ok,
a quickie this month. Remember the movie "RoboCop"?
In it, NANCY ALLEN
was the partner of Peter Weller, who eventually became RoboCop. You
may also remember Nancy from the movies "1941",
"Poltergeist III", and most recently, the
housekeeper toward the end of the George Clooney/Jennifer Lopez movie "Out
of Sight" (which you should check out if you get the chance).
Anyway,
for her role in "RoboCop", to look more "cop-like"
(whatever that may be), the director, Paul Verhoeven, wanted her to cut
her shoulder-length curly hair. Unfortunately for Nancy, she had
to get it cut EIGHT times before it was short enough to satisfy him.
Hey, things could always be worse. Verhoeven
could have envisioned future cops in the same way James Cameron saw future
soldiers in "Aliens".
In Cameron's Space Marines, both sexes had crew cuts.
